Joint laboratory

In collaboration with the Second Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague, we have established the joint laboratory, a hub dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research at the interface of medicinal chemistry and neuroscience.

This dynamic partnership brings together expertise in organic synthesis, design of novel drug-like compounds, and cutting-edge neuroscientific methods, integrated with in vivo neurofunctional assessment.

Our goal is to develop innovative chemical tools and therapeutics capable of selectively modulating and visualizing neural processes, thereby deepening our understanding of synaptic dynamics, signaling pathways, and cellular responses in living neuronal systems.

By seamlessly combining organic chemistry, molecular biology, and real-time imaging with neuroscientific exploration, the joint laboratory drives forward transformative insights into brain function, paving the way for next-generation diagnostics and therapeutic strategies.
